Integrated Solutions
An integrated solution involves the linking of various protocol systems, ensuring smooth running and cost efficiency in the management of different electronic security systems. Heag Integrated Systems Ltd provides both integrated and independent system solutions for access control, video surveillance, fire detection, intrusion detection & alarms, perimeter protection and electric fencing. Figure 1 below depicts a fully integrated electronic security system for a facility of any size.
Integration can be done at different levels with the above model as the ultimate, for example, access control can be integrated with intruder and perimeter protection, as is widely the practice around the world, or access control can be integrated with a fire system and a CCTV system.
Like a well-built engine, our goal is to get each subsystem of our client’s overall security solution to work together in perfect harmony as if it were a single unit. We take the same approach even when a client is interested in one component only, such as CCTV only or access control only.
The superior feature of an integrated system over independent systems is that a single command centre monitors and controls all security systems. Such a system allows for better and efficient management of a facility’s electronic security systems.
For example, in a fire emergency, the fire system can communicate with the access control system to disable the magnetic locks of all or selected controlled doors so that people can evacuate a building orderly while the source of the smoke or fire is closely monitored through the CCTV system as resources are mobilised to attend to the fire.
